Best time to go
October and November offer Brazil’s best weather without the crowds. If you're after sun, sand, and Carnival energy, plan your trip between December and March, but expect the masses!
Time difference
Brazil is between 14 and 16 hours behind New Zealand, depending on Daylight Saving, but if you make like the locals and hit the ground partying, it won't be so bad.

neighbours. I have been to Fiji numerous times and every time I just love it.
