Hi, I’m Megan! I’ve spent over 13 years in the travel industry, helping people plan trips that are exciting, enriching, and full of unforgettable moments. I’m all about finding experiences that are a little different—whether it’s an adventurous trek, a hidden gem, or a relaxing escape.

Having lived and worked overseas, I’ve gained a lot of insight into what makes travel so special. I love discovering new places and connecting with locals, and I’m always on the lookout for unique experiences that you won’t find in typical guidebooks. My goal is to help you explore the world in a way that feels personal and meaningful, no matter where you’re headed.

For as long as I can remember, travel has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up travelling multiple times a year, so it's no surprise I chose a career in the travel industry to carry this on in my adult life! 

My love of travelling and experiencing different cultures is what drives me to create bespoke travel itineraries for all of my clients. I truly believe that travel sparks our imagination, feeds our curiosity, and reminds us how much we all have in common.

I have explored various parts of the world along with our own backyard and will continue to do this to not only fulfil my desire to travel more but also to advance my knowledge of locations that may be of interest to my clients. 

Excelling your needs, wants and expectations before, during and after travel is my main priority. I would love to create a truly amazing trip and memories that will last you a lifetime!

Born in France, I moved to New Zealand in 2019.

Passionate in travel, I explored Europe from a young age, then decided to go a bit further with my backpack, first in Vietnam for a month, then in New Zealand for a year (that is when I fell in love with Aotearoa).

I started to work in the travel industry by organising safari trips in Tanzania, where I went several times as a tour leader.

Discovering new places, countries, cultures is an amazing way to create memories, that is why I love helping clients to organise their holiday.

There is nothing more satisfying to me than a client popping in store after their journey to tell me all about the adventures they've had.

As the proud Owner Operator of House of Travel Nelson, I lead a small but passionate team dedicated to taking care of all your travel needs.

I primarily work on the Orbit World Travel side of our business, specialising in business and group travel. But as a traveller myself, I love chatting with customers and the team about their upcoming adventures — there’s nothing better than sharing in the excitement of a great trip!

Travel has played a huge role in my life. From years of family holidays to the Gold Coast and Fiji, where the kids spent hours in the pool or on the playground, to unforgettable highlights like Disneyland (they were 10 and 12 — the perfect age!), followed by a relaxing week in Mexico. These days, with older kids, we’re seeking more adventure. Our recent trip to Vietnam was a standout — from the vibrant energy of Ho Chi Minh City to the peaceful beauty of Hoi An's lanterns and Halong Bay. If you haven’t been, it’s a must! 

Next on my list? Europe. While I’ve done a couple of quick trips in the past, I’m keen to take the time to explore the diverse cultures and rich history of the places I’ve spent years helping others discover.
