The Adelaide 500 takes place on a thrilling street circuit that winds through the city’s streets, offering a unique racing experience, you’ll enjoy being close to the action, with grandstands and general admission areas providing great views of the race, all within the scenic backdrop of Adelaide’s streets and parklands.

7. Melbourne Food and Wine Festival 

(14-23 March 2025)

8. Vivid Sydney

(23 May-14 June 2025) 

A breathtaking festival of lights, music, and ideas, turns Sydney into an outdoor art gallery with illuminated sculptures and projection, this event is for the whole family with interactive displays and light shows across this popular event. First launched in 2009, this event is one not to be missed, make it that extra bit special by booking a Vivid lights cruise on opening night and be mesmerised from Sydney Harbour.

9. Dark Mofo Hobart, Tasmania

(13-23 June 2025)

A quirky winter festival featuring art installations, live music, and performances that challenge the senses.

The popular Dark Mofo festival coincides with the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year. Dark Mofo celebrates this turning point with a series of events, including bonfires, candlelit processions, and midnight swims, creating a magical atmosphere that embraces the chill of winter.

With the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Wellington and the Derwent River, you'll enjoy the natural beauty of Tasmanie while immersing in the vibrant arts and culture of Dark Mofo.

10. Brisbane Festival

(1-22 September 2025) 

A lively festival featuring music, theatre, dance, and visual arts, culminating in the spectacular Riverfire fireworks display​ which takes place on 7 September.

With many events held along the scenic Brisbane River. The combination of vibrant art and the natural beauty of the city creates a unique and relaxing atmosphere for a long weekend or short getaway.
