For me, travel has been more than just a series of destinations,  it has been a transformative journey that has sculpted my character and contributed to my personal evolution. 

My travel experiences are not merely about ticking off destinations from a bucket list, but about immersing myself in the heart and soul of each place I’ve visited visit.  

My early travels began with frequent road trips around my home country of Canada and the USA, and I am fortunate enough to have now been to six of the seven continents. 

Exploring the world through various modes of transportation has been a thrilling adventure for me, from cruise ships, to trains, to rickshaws, and I have an appreciation for the experiences that local transport offers.  I am comfortable with sleeping in a hammock in the rainforest, an overwater bungalow in the South Pacific, and everything in between.  

My experiences have taught me to adapt to different situations and understand diverse perspectives, and my background in customer service and sales has equipped me with valuable skills that I believe make me well-suited for various client needs. I believe this makes me well-suited to meet your needs as a client.

Whether it's finding solutions to problems or anticipating your preferences, I strive to provide an exceptional service tailored to you. My aim is to not just meet but exceed your expectations by drawing on my varied background.

My enthusiasm for travel is infectious, and it is my goal to inspire others to embark on their own adventures and discover the beauty of our planet.

I have been so lucky to live and work all around the world and travelling has given me so many incredible experiences, memories and friends over the years. I am so excited to use my knowledge and experience to help you create some amazing memories through travel.

Why I love travel: 

For me life is about experiences, not things! I love exploring new places, cultures, environments. I see travel for me as an addiction - I just can't stay away and helping people is so rewarding. 

My travel tips: 

• Travel as soon as you can, don't delay as life is too short. 
• If you want an adventure head to Antarctica or the Arctic before anywhere else. 
• Always carry a change of clothes, any valuables and medication in your carry-on luggage. The House of Travel online brochures are a great source of information when planning your journey then we can finetune your holiday for you. 

My top 5 destinations: 

• Africa- Serengeti plains!!! Perfect place to go to create family memories with our young adult kids! Adventure to encounter wildlife and camping in the Serengeti!
• Dubai- the mix of culture, sights, architecture, markets, desert and the malls - even though shopping is not my thing. 
  
• Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska - I was incredibly fortunate to have a family holiday in Canada, Alaska, Las Vegas and California and I'll never forget rafting on the Nenana River, rounding a bend to see a moose and her two calves taking a drink …. we all forgot to keep paddling; it was an incredible sight!
• Rome - the history and the chaos of a bustling city it offers so much culture with a cool vibe. 
• Thailand - I lived near Chiang Mai as an exchange student many years ago and have been back to the country three times. It is great for families, couples, singles with so much to see and do. 

What's in my suitcase?

• Happiness - I'm always in my happy place as soon as I travel.
• Active wear - Our holidays always include adventure and plenty of travel. 
• A copy of my passport and insurance policy number and phone number, in case I lose my carryon bag and phone.

I have been lucky enough to have travelled to Rarotonga, Samoa and Australia (Gold Coast & Sydney) and have a vast knowledge of all of these fun places with my most favorite place being Rarotonga!
