It's a perfect place to enjoy the ocean without the crowds. But if you venture inland, you'll discover stunning landscapes, rugged peaks and rolling hills in northern Croatia. You can shuck oysters and taste wine at our favourite island spots, wandering between the red-roofed Hvar and the sunny Korčula. Flight time.

It takes around 24 hours to fly from Auckland to Croatia, including a stopover. Despite the long flight, Croatia’s stunning coastlines and rich history make it a must-visit destination.

Best time to go.

The best time to visit Croatia is from May to September, especially if you’re interested in the coastal regions. The summer months are perfect for enjoying the Adriatic Sea and exploring the islands.

Time difference.

Croatia is 10 hours behind New Zealand, so you’ll need to adjust to a significant time difference.
