Variety, vibrancy, volcanoes − these words aptly describe Vanuatu. This necklace of lush islands in the South Pacific offers travellers a captivating and divergent choice of experiences - from fine dining to adventure tourism. Vanuatu’s rich volcanic soil and climate have helped give the country’s Santo beef, and the coffee grown on the island of Tanna a worldwide reputation for quality. Where better to sample these culinary delights than in a French restaurant in the cosmopolitan capital, Port Vila. Or join in one of the Melanesian feasts organised by the major resorts.

The best time to visit Vanuatu is from May to October, offering cooler and drier weather perfect for outdoor adventures. For cultural enthusiasts, April to June is ideal to witness the Naghol land diving. The wet season from November to April brings lush landscapes but also higher humidity and cyclone risks.

"we put in a deposit for a trip to Vanuatu but Vanessa returned to us that, that price was no longer available and would cost more, we then changed the trip to Fiji at Beachcomber but had nt decided on where to stay for one night at front end of trip and 4 nights at end of trip, it was a bit of a muck around on my end but she helped us through and we got sorted after an hour or so"
Andrew"Debra was very friendly and researched the best dates that were suitable for my purposes. She was very professional and friendly the entire time."
Murray"Pleasant when I called in in person. Promptly responded to my query and to request to change details."

I recently joined the team at House of Travel Mt Maunganui after relocating from Hamilton, where I’d previously worked with Calder & Lawson House of Travel.
After many years in the travel industry, what makes this job special to me, is having my clients return from their trips to tell me about their adventures and then wanting to rebook another holiday with me - they do say the best way to overcome the post-travel blues is to already be planning your next one, and I couldn’t agree more!
I would love to help you plan your next trip and look forward to hearing from you.
Having spent the last 25 years in the Travel Industry I can safely say "I love my job".
Getting to put together dream holidays is very rewarding and it's great to see so many more Kiwis getting out to see this amazing world of ours...

Leaving home at 19 with a one way ticket to London to start my OE, it's fair to say I've had the travel bug for years!
Living overseas for 8 years, and in London for four years, I travelled extensively around Europe. Barcelona is my favourite city!
Then living in Melbourne for four years after that, this is where I started my career in travel in 2004. It was my dream job all those years ago and I still smile every day when I come to work now, I LOVE this job!
Nothing brings me more joy then hearing of clients travel plans, putting together itineraries and making their travel experience run as smooth as possible from start to finish.
I like to think I am a friendly, bubbly personality, a good listener and I will take on board your needs while also guiding you with helpful advice and suggestions when needed. I live on a dairy farm in Reporoa with my husband and three young children, I understand the #mum-life juggle and the need to get away and escape for a holiday sometimes! Having travelled to nearly 40 countries, I have lots of experience that I cant wait to share it with you. Looking forward to meeting you soon.
