Hey there!

I'm Laura, the smiley face you'll spot as soon as you walk through our office door. With a serious case of wanderlust, I've done it all - lived abroad, cruised the seas, island hopped, even cruised around South Africa on the back of a motorbike! I am all about the adventure. But let me tell you about my ultimate love affair - Africa!

For three wild years, I bounced between Australia and South Africa, travelled to almost every corner on the bake of a motorbike. I’ve sat with Elephants for hours, seen the big cats hunting, slept under the stars in the middle of a game reserve. My heart belongs to the wildlife, and if you're an animal lover like me, trust me, Africa is the place to be.

They say home is where the heart is, and I left a piece of mine in Africa. Nothing makes me happier than helping others experience its magic. Sure, I'm a newbie in the travel industry, but exploring the world has been my jam since day one. The more I learn, the more excited I get about sharing the adventure with you!

I have been in the Travel Industry for over 10 years, starting off primarily selling Australia, then moving to House of Travel in the Product Department where I was for 4 years as a South Pacific Destination Expert. In April 2023, I was given an opportunity to work here at House of Travel Ellerslie in a retail role. Here I have discovered a love of creating and curating holidays for all types of travellers to ensure they have the best possible experiences while there.

My passions are travel & people which is why I love what I do! I love to share in the excitement of your travel planning and help create your dream holiday! I also understand there is not a one size fits all for travel and will ensure your holiday is individualised to you!

I've been lucky enough to visit so many amazing countries of the world and I would love to help you do the same whether it is a family trip to Aussie, a river cruise in Europe, relaxing Island getaway or an adventurous safari in Africa. 

My office hours are: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9am -3pm

With over 12 years in the industry I have always had travel and tourism in my blood, including working as cabin crew for nearly 8 years. I was so lucky to visit so many great destinations while working and on personal trips. 

When I'm not working you will find me at home cooking and spending quality time with my young family and friends.
