I have been in the Travel Industry for over 10 years, starting off primarily selling Australia, then moving to House of Travel in the Product Department where I was for 4 years as a South Pacific Destination Expert. In April 2023, I was given an opportunity to work here at House of Travel Ellerslie in a retail role. Here I have discovered a love of creating and curating holidays for all types of travellers to ensure they have the best possible experiences while there.

Having been born into an aviation family, I was always destined to become a passionate traveller, and have a lifelong fascination for aviation, airports, and exploring new destinations. 

Travel is in my blood, and my love for my job shines through, going above and beyond for my clients to ensure their needs are met with warmth, kindness, and an attentive ear. 

With a diverse background in the travel industry, my vast experience started with corporate travel for blue chip New Zealand companies, followed by a never-ending OE in London and Sydney in the Music & Film industry looking after global superstars and celebrities. Now back home in the Bay, I’m helping travellers with their holidays, corporate customers heading away for business, and specialising in group travel - whether travelling for sports, education, weddings, conferences, or events. I’m experienced in catering to a wide range of travel preferences and needs.

I am delighted to share the exciting news of my return to House of Travel after a brief break from the travel industry. I am thrilled to continue my travel career, which spans over 17 years. It all began when I entered the industry as a travel consultant and eventually progressed to assistant office manager. I developed a strong fascination with the wholesale operation, which inspired me to delve deeper into that specific aspect of the business. 

This experience further ignited my desire to embark on my second Overseas Experience (O.E.) As a result, I left New Zealand and had the opportunity to work as a travel agent in both Australia and Ireland. Upon my return to New Zealand, I seized a valuable position as a sales representative for Malaysian Airlines before finally joining House of Travel at the beginning of 2017.

During my travels, I have been fortunate to explore 18 countries, and among them, Hawaii holds a special place as one of my favorite destinations. Exploring the Waikele premium outlets, basking in the sun on beautiful beaches, snorkelling with turtles along the Maui coastline, and embarking on the exhilarating Haleakala Zipline adventure—this destination offers the perfect all-in-one holiday experience for me.

Cruising, indulging in luxury travel, and enjoying beach breaks are my passions, although I am not averse to a touch of adventure. Witnessing the awe-inspiring Chichen Itza Mayan ruins in Mexico and conquering the ascent of Mount Kinabalu in Sabah were both remarkable personal achievements.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my profession is assisting clients in creating their ideal travel experiences. I take great pleasure in hearing about their favorite moments and highlights upon their return.

Having visited 32 countries (and counting!), I’ve been lucky enough to turn my passion of exploring the world into a career helping others do the same. I specialise in travel across Australia, the Pacific Islands, Cruises, and bring a wealth of knowledge from a six-month backpacking adventure across Europe that gave me first hand insight into travelling on and off the beaten track.

Some of my most memorable experiences include hot air ballooning over the desert in Dubai, island hopping along Croatia’s stunning coastline, and something a little closer to home - Fiji! - A destination every Kiwi should experience at least once.
